We are currently seeking experienced Intermediate and Advanced Riggers to join our shutdown team, on a casual basis. These roles will be FIFO (fly-in, fly-out) from Perth, Western Australia.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all rigging gear used is fit for purpose.
  • Ensure all lifting operations comply with relevant high-risk work standards, procedures, and site safety protocols.
  • Comply with instructions given by management and supervision.
  • Store equipment safely and appropriately at the end of shift.
  • Perform rigging duties as required, and in line with legislative requirements.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • Currently living or residing in Western Australia
  • Minimum of 2 years demonstrated crane rigging experience
  • Australian Driver's Licence, current and valid
  • High Risk Work Licence with RI or RA classes, as a minimum
  • Working at Heights qualification (within 2 years of issue)
  • White card
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
  • Current inductions to Roy Hill and Rio Tinto are highly advantageous
