Right at Home Sydney, The Hills has several exciting opportunities available for Community Support Workers across Galston, Western Sydney and the Hawkesbury Region. We are a rapidly growing home care provider offering high-quality, compassionate, and reliable services to older Australians and people living with disability.

We currently have clients needing dedicated care workers in areas including (but not limited to):

Galston, Dural, Glenorie, Castle Hill, Blacktown, Windsor, Pitt Town, Riverstone, Marsden Park, St Marys, Richmond, Mt Druitt and surrounding suburbs.

About the Role

We are currently seeking passionate and experienced Support Workers with backgrounds in aged care, disability support, spinal care, bowel care, or AIN roles.

You will be supporting clients with a range of in-home care services such as:

  • Personal care (showering, grooming, dressing)
  • Domestic assistance (cleaning, laundry, general housework)
  • Meal preparation
  • Social support and companionship
  • Transport to medical appointments, shopping, and community access
  • Respite care

This is a casual role with flexible hours. Shift availability ranges from Monday to Sunday, as we operate a 24/7 care service depending on clients need. Candidates with flexible availability are highly preferred.

  • Can work both independently and as part of a team
  • Have excellent communication and time-management skills
  • Are committed to ongoing learning and improvement
  • Can build strong and positive relationships with clients

Required Qualifications & Certifications

  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Disability, Individual Support or similar (essential)
  • First Aid & CPR Certification (current)
  • Australian Driver's Licence & Reliable Vehicle with Comprehensive Insurance
  • National Police Check (within the last 6 months)
  • Working With Children Check
  • Smartphone with internet access

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience in aged care, disability care, or as an AIN
  • Experience with bowel care, spinal support, or manual handling
  • Experience in supporting elderly or vulnerable clients in a home or community setting
