What you'll be doing

  • Serving a variety of beverages to customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Monitoring and maintaining gaming machines, ensuring they are in good working condition
  • Providing guidance and assistance to customers on the use of gaming machines
  • Handling cash and financial transactions related to gaming activities
  • Ensuring the bar and gaming areas are well-stocked, clean and tidy at all times
  • Adhering to all relevant liquor licensing and gaming regulations
  • Supporting the broader hotel operations as needed

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, ideally within a bar, lounge or gaming environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Familiarity with gaming machine operations and a good understanding of relevant regulations
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently as required
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the capacity to work a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
