About the role

An opportunity exists for a highly organised, personable and quick thinking Bookkeeper to work in our Campbelltown Wellness Centre managing the day to day accounting, connecting with our community and clients and ensuring the smooth running of our services.

You will need experience with Xero and Rostering systems

About the Role

The successful candidate will handle all financial tasks such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, ensure invoices are claimed and paid for in a timely manner and remittances sent in a timely manner to suppliers

As part of the role required NDIS bookkeeping you will provide support to NDIS participants and carers in organisations that have NDIS plan management services.

NDIS bookkeeping duties and tasks can include:

  • Plan management support to service participants such as enquiries from providers regarding payments and invoices

  • Account reconciliation including general ledger and end of month accounts

  • Accounts payable, receivable and payroll functions including bank reconciliations, and cash flow management

  • Preparation of monthly financial statements

  • Accounts payable with coding accuracy

  • Interpreting the NDIS price list and determining categories for invoices

  • Emailing providers for additional information if required to process invoices

  • General data processing

  • Answering all enquiries in a timely manner

  • Always seeking to maximise the outcome of participants plan by working with them, their networks and support providers

  • Attend monthly team meetings and deliver productivity reports

For our Allied Health and Well-being support services you will be required to

  • Assist the client service teams with the management of revenue, sales pipeline reporting.

  • Initiate and participate in Financial Control

  • Monthly margin reports.

  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations including fixed asset register and prepayment.

  • Prepare GST and BAS Monthly

  • Assist with the debt collection process.

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly reports to management.

  • Liaise with external accounting provider, on the accurate and timely implementation of accounts payable, payroll, fixed assets and month end processes.

  • Ensure discounts are applied and well-being packages are always maintained and updated

  • Maintain Asset Register and Asset and Equipment compliance and registration

Skills and experience

  • Diploma in Bookkeeping

  • Registration with relevant Accounting bodies

  • 8 Years experience in accounts and bookkeeping

  • NDIS service agreements

  • NDIS service bookings & invoicing experience

  • Experience in job costing operations

  • Proficiency in all areas of bookkeeping

  • Excellent communication and teamwork.

  • Accounts receivable

  • Accounts payable

  • Reconciling bank accounts and monitoring cash flow

  • Statutory reporting

  • General ledger maintenance.

  • Payroll

  • Must have Excellent team work and Communication Skills

  • Experience with CommBiz and creating working Excel files an advantage
