The Opportunity:
Hall Contracting is looking to welcome an Experienced Diesel Fitter to their Sunshine Coast workshop This opportunity will combine local work based in the Sunshine Coast workshop, with the potential to assist our other projects across Australia and in the Pacific Islands, offering you diversity and an exciting chance to see the country and the world
*These roles will be primarily based in Hall Contracting's Sunshine Coast workshop. It is essential for successful applicants to live in (or be willing to relocate to) this area*

Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying reliability issues & improvements to machines and systems.
- Actively participate in preventative maintenance programs and record keeping through our digital system.
- Responding to and addressing equipment breakdowns in an appropriate time frame with access to digital manuals and maintenance planners.
- Preventative maintenance and repairs to a wide range of machinery.
- Adhering to all OHS Policies & Procedures at all times with digital access to form and procedures to ensuring safety is not compromised.
About You:
- Heavy Diesel or Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate
- 3+ years Post trade experience on civil construction equipment (excavators, moxy, dozers, graders etc.)
- Experience with Komatsu, Volvo, Hitachi or Caterpillar machines is beneficial
- Experience with marine equipment (vessels, workboats, barges, dredges) is highly regarded, but not essential
- Hydraulic/electrical systems, and pump experience would be beneficial
- Experience in component rebuilds of engines, transmissions, hydraulic components would be beneficial
