About You
You're an experienced and passionate Speech Pathologist with strong clinical reasoning and a commitment to client-centred supports. You thrive in multidisciplinary teams, lead by example, and support others through supervision and mentoring. You are flexible and responsive to the needs of staff and clients. Your everyday actions are guided by your strong values, including integrity, empathy and inclusiveness.
About the Role
As an experienced Speech Pathologist at Novita, you will:
Manage a diverse and complex caseload, delivering evidence-based assessments and tailored programs of supportProvide clinical leadership by supervising entry and early career staff and supporting their professional developmentLead by example in the delivery evidence-based, client-centred therapeutic supportsContribute to service innovation within your own caseload and across the whole organisation by developing community-based programs and enhancing service delivery Actively participate in service planning, client reviews, and multidisciplinary decision-makingWork closely with other senior clinicians, team leaders and clinical leads to support positive team culture and improve service deliverySkills And Experiences
Knowledge, skills and experience
Advanced clinical reasoning and reflective skills Apply and evaluate a range of Speech Pathology supports to support positive client outcomesExperience supporting the development of other allied health professionalsDemonstrated skills in supervision and leadershipExperience applying strong clinical reasoning skills to a range of diverse clinical situations through reflection, obtaining support and engaging in self-directed learningWhat You'll Need Before Starting
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Speech PathologyMust be a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia or working towards this status within the first 12 months of employment at NovitaCurrent NDIS Worker Check and SA Working with Children Check (must be completed before starting)Child Safe Environments training (Through Your Eyes)Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module: Quality, Safety and YouA current, valid Driver's licenceWe're serious about safeguarding our clients. If you don't have a current NDIS Worker Check and SA Working with Children Check, we'll let you know how to obtain these prior to starting work with us.
