Juliette's is on the lookout for a new team member to join us in a combined Gelato Maker + Front of House role. This position is unique — you'll be working across both areas of the shop depending on business needs, so flexibility and a can-do attitude are key
What the role involves:
- Working in a friendly, supportive team environment
- General café duties (serving customers, cash handling, cleaning, store set-up/close down)
- Preparing food and beverages
- Training with our gelato masters to follow recipes and procedures to create our artisan gelato
- Maintaining consistency, quality and attention to detail
- Holding (or being willing to obtain) a Safe Food Handling Certificate
Shift times include but are not limited to:
- Morning shifts: 5.30am – 2pm
- Afternoon/evening shifts: 2pm – 10/10.30pm
- Weekdays, weekends and public holidays may be required
- Shift times and duties will vary depending on season and business needs
- This is a part time role, up to 38 hours per week.
Please be aware this is a combined front of house and gelato maker role. The responsibilities and duties of this role will vary week to week depending on the business needs. The successful applicant does not require previous experience in a gelato making role, however a passion for creating exceptional deserts/baked goods in a similar role or hobby is desirable.
