We are looking for an ambitious and talented Chef ready to take the next step in their career.

You will assist in leading our close-knit team at The Sebel Kiama, a 4.5-star hotel on the NSW South Coast. 

The successful candidate will have significant responsibility of the hotel's bistro - YVES Social and be involved in the ongoing development and successfully execution of the exciting, seasonally changing menu.

To apply and be successful, you will need the following:

  • Full Trade qualifications with at least 3-5 years' experience.
  • Previous experience in at least a 4.5-star hotel at Chef de Partie level at a minimum, with exposure in all areas of A la Carte, as well as Banquets.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of cost-effective recipes and follow financial goals set by the General Manager.
  • Train and develop all kitchen personnel to achieve excellence in meal presentation which represents our stunning venue and location.
  • Must be keen to build a career in the hotel industry and create a positive culture amongst the entire food and beverage department.
  • Be capable of performing under pressure.
  • Be available to work Evening shifts that includes weekends.
  • Have working rights in Australia, this position is not open for anything otherwise.
