ROLE DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Science Teacher
Position Type: Full Time – Temporary (1 year)
Start Date: Thursday 1 January 2026

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our team from Thursday, 1 January 2026. The successful candidate will teach Science across Years 7 to 12, the ability to teach ATAR Human Biology is essential. This role involves working collaboratively with colleagues and the Head of Learning Area to support students with diverse learning needs, promote inclusive education, and contribute to a positive and respectful learning environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting students in accessing curriculum content and classroom activities
- Assisting with the implementation of individualised education plans and learning strategies
- Encouraging student engagement, independence and confidence
- Contributing to pastoral care and co-curricular programs
- Collaborating with staff to support student wellbeing and holistic development
