PLI is seeking a Crane Operator to join the Site Crane Services team at Citic Pacific Mining.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Permanent position on a 2/1 continuous shift roster (days & nights), FIFO ex Perth.
Reporting to the Crane Supervisor, this role is to perform Crane Operations by the Site Crane Support Services.
ABOUT YOU
- Min 3 years' experience in XCNG, Liebherr, Tadano and Grove All Terrain Cranes
- Min 3 years mine site experience will be highly regarded
- Able to Work Autonomously as well in a team
- Able to follow instructions and show initiative
- Ensure that the highest Safety Standards are met for the yard and its employees
- Focused on maintaining a clean and safe working environment as well as continuous improvement and conducting all work in accordance with quality and ISO standards.
- Safety and process-focused, and willing to input and continually improve the process
REQUIREMENTS
- Required to be clean shaven or obtain a Versa flow
- Proof of Right to work in Australia (mandatory)
- Current and Valid Australian (HR) Drivers Licence (mandatory)
- Valid High Risk Work Licence (mandatory)
- Minimum, LF, RI and CO qualification (mandatory)
- MSIC (desirable)
- WAH (desirable)
- White Card (mandatory)
- Excellent attitude to safety
- Flexible attitude to work within all our crews and to assist with other duties outside your scope
- Successful applicant is required to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing

CPM is the company behind Sino Iron, already Australia's largest magnetite operation, located on Western Australia's Pilbara coast. We are spearheading a new downstream processing industry for the nation, transforming magnetite iron ore into a high-grade, premium export product.
Sino Iron is a fully integrated operation – featuring a mine serviced by the biggest haul trucks in the world, a six-line concentrator and port terminal facilities at nearby Cape Preston. Our state-of-the-art power station and desalination plant are among the largest in the State.
