The Role:This exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our head office team in Doncaster. A leadership position amongst a team of engaged and motivated HSE Advisors. This position would suit someone who already has health and safety experience in building and construction and experience in, or motivation to take the next step leading and delivering a range of HSEQ strategic initiatives and projects.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of the company's HSEQ systems, processes & procedures
  • Make sure all company programs/projects comply with HSEQ requirements
  • Identify risks and create effective strategies to control on site
  • Investigate and report on incidents or accidents, providing corrective actions
  • Monitor and track performance metrics to evaluate performance
  • Oversee the development and progression of HSE Advisors.
  • Delivery of effective training, engagement and communication strategies with managers, staff and subcontractors.
  • Accountable for assisting in the rehabilitation and/or recovery management of personnel
  • Work closely with the Head of HSE, Risk and Compliance to continuously improve HSE and operational practices

Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge:

  • Qualification in Work Health & Safety (i.e. diploma, degree) is mandatory
  • A minimum of 4 years HSEQ experience
  • Previous experience as a team leader or manager
  • Ability to build and sustain strong relationships
  • Superior communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Experience in the management of external accreditations
  • Problem solving & process implementation skills
  • Ability to analyse & interpret data, laws & regulations
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Valid driver licence, WWC (preferred) & Construction Induction White Card
