They service trade, retail, mining, and engineering customers with a wide range of quality timber and building products and have a strong reputation for expert service and local reliability.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in precision workmanship and enjoys working with high-quality timber in a well-equipped production environment. This position is for an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident only.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform workshop-based carpentry and timber machining to client specifications.
- Read and interpret job sheets accurately and ensure projects are completed to spec.
- Safely operate a range of timber and joinery machinery.
- Work with the stores and sales teams to ensuring orders are delivered on time.
- Record job progress and hours accurately.
- Occasionally assist with onsite installations as required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
Requirements:
- A trade qualification in Carpentry or Joinery.
- Proven experience in workshop or timber machining roles.
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (full working rights).
- Confident operating power tools and woodworking machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
- Comfortable working in a busy workshop environment (dusty/noisy).
