Job Description:

Looking for a great way to start you Pharmacist career. Howles Pharmacy is looking for a 2026 intern pharmacist to join our team in Tamworth NSW. We are a large 100% locally owned and operated independent Pharmacy that has been servicing the Tamworth Community for 120 years.

This role offers the chance to further develop your skills in a busy, service-based community pharmacy while working alongside experienced pharmacists, pharmacy assistants and nursing staff.

About the role:

  • Learn from and assist the Pharmacist in charge
  • Provide professional advice and outstanding customer service to patients
  • Support the pharmacy team in daily operations, including stock management and customer inquiries
  • Collaborate with pharmacists to deliver health services and programs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy (or anticipated graduation in 2025)
  • Previous Community Pharmacy Experience (desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to learn
  • Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
