Established for 20 years, Integral Psychology offers a range of psychological interventions for a range of issues such as anxiety, stress, phobias, depression, life transitions and many more. About the position

We are currently looking for a warm, friendly and enthusiastic receptionist to join our team. You will be responsible for greeting our clients at the front desk and being our 'front of house'.

You are a professional, reliable team member with exceptional communication skills and the ability to multitask. Our office is a highly organised, fast paced environment so organisational and time management skills are essential. This role will involve sharing the role and communicating/liaising with our current receptionist who will work with us one day per week. 

Most importantly, this important role is the first point of contact for our Practice. The right candidate is a compassionate and caring 'people' person who can balance the needs of clients whilst managing the needs of the business.

General tasks involved include:

  • Answering the phone and addressing client queries in a professional and friendly manner
  • Booking and management of client appointments and assessments.
  • Processing invoice payments and Medicare claims.
  • Scanning and filing documents.
  • Securely and sensitively handling confidential client information.
  • Liaising with relevant other medical services and stakeholders.
  • Other general administrative duties.
  • Some light cleaning

Requirements:

Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

·

Excellent time management and organisational skills

·

Being a team player with a 'can do' attitude to support our clinical team and clients

  • Working with Children check (or willing to obtain).
  • National Police check (or willing to obtain).
  • Australian residency or right to work within Australia.

· Experience with and knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, is vital

· Proficiency using social media

Desired Experience (not required):

  • Previous administrative or reception experience, with experience psychological setting or healthcare industry is considered a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in technology, with experience using Zanda (formerly Power Diary), or another practice management system considered a strong advantage.
  • Practice management experience

Hours and days of work

This is a casual role commencing in January/February 2026. We require the successful applicant to work approximately 30-32 hours (4 days) a week, with the flexibility of increasing or decreasing hours/days occasionally.

Please note this position does not suit school hours only or working from home - our reception staff are required to be on site to manage clients arriving in person. The role may suit a psychology student or other health discipline.
