Garstone Design is a proudly Australian furniture manufacturer, producing high-quality leather lounges and recliners for over 40 years. We are currently seeking skilled and motivated process workers to join our team at our Carole Park factory.

About the Roles:

The first vacant position is a hands-on roles focus on pre-upholster leather furniture, primarily lounges and recliners.

The second role is specializing in cutting fabrics, foams and leather.

The work demands precision, efficiency, and attention to detail. You will be working with high-grade leather, foam, and timber frames, contributing to the creation of premium Australian-made furniture.

We are ideally looking for:

  • A motivated individual with some experience, who is eager to learn quickly and become highly skilled.
  • We are looking for someone with mechanical aptitude and some experience using hand tools, air tools, or power tools, especially cutting tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble precut timber, foam and spring components as per instructions.
  • Preparing and fitting foam, fabric, and leather materials.
  • Transferring patterns to fabrics, leather and foams and cut them.
  • Reading and following job cards accurately.
  • Working to productivity targets and maintaining a low defect rate.
  • Help out other areas if required, including truck loading
  • Contributing to a safe, clean, and cooperative team environment.
