With a team of 550 employees and growing, we currently operate over 50 school age care and early years education services across Catholic schools in the Greater Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains region.



Description

Working in our Early Education & Care team you will be able to inspire and empower students through engaging lessons and personalised support. Make a difference in young lives by fostering a love for learning and cultivating essential skills for success.

Responsibilities:

Developing strong relationships with children at the serviceDeveloping strong relationships that support and partner with families and the communityImplementing the policies and associated procedures of the organisation at all timesWorking with other staff towards continuous improvement in all areas of the service's operations

Skills And Experiences

Qualifications

Diploma in Children's ServicesCurrent Work with Children CheckFirst Aid/CPR/Anaphylaxis Certification

Experience

A minimum of 6 months' experience in an approved early years education and care service is desirableDemonstrated experience in curriculum, supporting curriculum development and documenting children's learning and development.Experience in planning and programming for individual children and groups using emergent curriculumKnowledge and understanding of the National Quality StandardsUnderstanding of the Early Years Learning FrameworkKnowledge and understanding of the Early Childhood Australia Code of ethics to apply these to personal practices and goals.Understanding and knowledge of child and brain development theoryUnderstanding of the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010Understanding of the Education and Care Services Regulations 2011
