What's The Role
We're seeking an experienced Local Driver's to join our Gatton team. These full time roles work day & night shift across Monday - Saturday.

It is an exciting opportunity to join our industry leading transportation company and play a key role in assisting hundreds of Australian businesses to meet their transport needs.

Lindsay Transport is Australia's largest fresh produce transporter, delivering temperature-sensitive freight to major markets and grocery distribution centres. Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Not Limited To

  • Safe Always - Demonstrating safe work practices, leading by example and promoting a safe work culture.
  • Temperature Sensitive Freight - working with and understanding temperature sensitive freight, ensuring the safe and timely handling.
  • Customer Service - Interacting with customers in a professional manner.
  • Teamwork & Communication - Working closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight.
  • Good Work Ethic - Reliable, supportive and the ability to have a go.
  • Quality Checks & Control - Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery of paperwork.

What You'll Bring:

  • Current and valid HC or MC licence.
  • Previous commercial driving experience detailed in your resume.
  • A safe driving record, you will be required to provide a copy of your driving history.
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Strong customer focus with good communication skills.
  • Well presented, professional and reliable.

To be successful for this role applicants must:

  • Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test
  • Provide a current traffic print out
  • Be willing to work weekend shifts and be flexible with start & finish times
