The position:

We are currently recruiting an electrician with linesmen experience to join our growing construction business in our Nhulunbuy projects in the Northern Territory. We are looking for a driven and reliable tradesperson who will be responsible for the safe and cost-effective management of our electrical requirements, including new builds and maintenance works. The role:

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager your role will include:

· Electrical maintenance of the infrastructure, plant and equipment in a proper and efficient manner

· Perform construction, maintenance and repairs on overhead electrical distribution lines

· New community housing electrical and refrigeration installation works

· Electrical maintenance works

· Exceptional communication skills for early problem identification and resolution of problems in a practical and constructive manner

· Proven adherence to accredited Work, Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements, including project control plans and compliance auditing

· Travel to East Arnhem Land communities in light aircraft or four-wheel drive

What We Offer:

· $ $60 per hour + superannuation. Generally over 50hrs per week

· Relocation assistance: flights and/or travel expenses which will be negotiated with successful applicant, including shipping of tools

· Fully subsidised housing provided in Nhulunbuy or option to be FIFO from Cairns or Darwin on a 3 weeks on 1 week off roster if preferred

Requirements:

· Trade Qualification and NT electrical Licence

· Experience as a linesman or equivalent in the power distribution industry

· Experience in domestic housing, commercial and maintenance area

· Current Drivers Licence

· Positive attitude towards safety
