Contract: Two years
Salary: $88,097 pa plus Superannuation
Position purpose:
The Housing Growth and Partnerships Manager is responsible for leading the strategic expansion of Araluen's housing portfolio for people with disability, with a strong focus on identifying, developing, and delivering new housing opportunities that are person-centred, financially viable, and aligned with NDIS funding models. This role is also accountable for building and sustaining high-value partnerships across the disability, community, and housing sectors to drive participant referrals and connect individuals with Araluen's housing and complementary services.
With a strong outward-facing focus, the role spends the majority of time in the community—engaging with stakeholders, attending expos and events, and identifying emerging needs and opportunities. By combining insight, sector knowledge, and relationship-building expertise, the Housing Growth and Partnerships Manager plays a critical role in shaping Araluen's future housing landscape and ensuring participants have access to innovative, sustainable, and supportive living options.

Key Selection Criteria:
• Extensive Experience: Minimum 5–10 years of demonstrated experience working in the disability services sector, with a strong understanding of person-centred practice and the NDIS environment.
• NDIS Expertise: In-depth knowledge of NDIS funding models, particularly in relation to Supported Independent Living (SIL), Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), and Independent Living Options (ILO), and the ability to apply this knowledge to develop viable housing solutions.
• New Housing Onboarding Experience: Proven ability to identify, assess, and lead the development of new housing opportunities, including financial viability assessments, project planning, and service setup.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Demonstrated success in building and maintaining collaborative partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders including NDIS representatives, Support Coordinators, community organisations, families, and participants.
• Community Engagement: Experience in community outreach, including attending expos, school visits, and sector events to promote services and identify emerging needs.
• Project Management: Experience in organisational and project management leading complex initiatives from start to finish.
• Current driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively across Victoria.
