About the Role

Ventia has partnered with leading QLD Energy providers to provide distribution powerline, maintenance, and construction services within local and the greater Southeast Queensland.

We currently have a great opportunity for a Crane Operator/Trades Assistant to join our team based in Rockhampton, QLD. Reporting to Delivery Supervisor, you will assist the team in the successful delivery of allocated works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be part of a construction team
  • Operating a Crane Borer, in the construction and maintenance of powerlines
  • Working safely within a team
  • Other maintenance and construction work as required

The Person

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking candidate who enjoys working as part of a team. We are also looking for the following:

  • Electrical Experience - preferred, but not essential
  • Relevant High Risk Crane License
  • HR driver's license
  • Construction Blue/White Card
