Key Responsibilities

  • Perform precision tiling for swimming pools, waterlines, and wet area surrounds
  • Apply waterproofing systems to meet Australian standards.
  • Prepare substrates through screeding, rendering, and levelling.
  • Interpret and work from technical drawings.
  • Deliver consistently high-quality finishes across all tiling and waterproofing tasks
  • Coordinate effectively with other trades and site supervisors to ensure smooth project flow
  • Follow safety protocols and project timelines.
  • Participate in other pool construction activities and support the construction team when tiling work is not available, with full training provided to ensure overall project success.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Valid White Card (Construction Induction Card)
  • Proven experience in pool tiling and waterproofing
  • Ability to interpret technical plans
  • High attention to detail and quality
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Current Australian driver's licence
Preferred Skills
  • Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling or similar
  • Waterproofing certification (e.g. CPC31420)
  • Experience with luxury/custom pools
  • Proficient with various tile types
  • Background in residential and commercial pool projects
