About the role

Join the Wodonga Prestige's team as a Workshop Foreman. This full-time hands-on role is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of the workshop, ensuring a high standard of customer service and technical excellence. Based in Wodonga VIC 3690, you will play a key part in maintaining the automotive services and repairs for our clientele.

What you'll be doing

1. Diagnosis
2. Manage the day-to-day operations of the workshop, including workflow, staff productivity and cost control
3. Oversee the work of technicians, allocating jobs and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion
4. Provide technical guidance and support to the workshop team
5. Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard and in compliance with manufacturer specifications
6. Liaise with customers to understand their needs and provide updates on the status of their vehicle
7. Implement and maintain workshop processes and procedures
8. Assist with the recruitment, training and development of workshop staff
9. Monitor and report on workshop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Workshop Foreman or similar supervisory role in the automotive industry
2. Strong technical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair and maintenance processes
3. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients
4. Proficient in the use of automotive diagnostic equipment and tools
5. Effective communication and leadership skills to coordinate and motivate the workshop team
6. Analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve issues
7. Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in the automotive industry
