Fast and Curious Early Learning Centre in Old Toongabbie is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Diploma Qualified Educator to join our passionate team as a Room Leader in either our Toddler or Preschool room.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and skilled educator ready to lead high-quality programs in a purpose-built, inspiring environment. Immediate start is available for the right candidate.

About the Role

As the Room Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the daily operations of the Toddler or Preschool room
  • Developing and delivering high-quality, child-centred programs aligned with the EYLF and NQS
  • Ensuring consistent, vigilant supervision and upholding Child Safe Standards
  • Building positive relationships with children, families, and your teaching team
  • Supporting and mentoring educators to deliver engaging, developmentally rich experiences
  • Maintaining accurate documentation, observations, and learning stories using digital platforms
About You

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (not a Graduate Diploma)
  • 2 to 3 years experience in an Australian early childhood setting (Room Leader experience highly regarded).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with families, children and colleagues.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and child development
  • Demonstrated experience in program planning, intentional teaching, and quality documentation
  • Proven ability to lead a room, support educators, and foster a positive team culture
  • Excellent behaviour guidance, safety awareness, and supervision skills
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Current WWCC, First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certifications
  • A strong commitment to child safety, wellbeing, and inclusive practice
  • Professionalism, warmth, and a genuine love for early childhood education
