About the Role
We are on the look-out for an experienced Varnish Repairer to support our Waterfront and Quality Assurance Teams, at our Waterfront facility.
This role is responsible for ensuring top quality finishes on all of our varnished products, after they have been installed on our vessels.
Working alongside the Waterfront Quality Assurance Team, this role requires the re-work of any non-conformance or any other identified damage to the varnish brightwork.
Experience
- Extensive experience in spraying single pack and 2 pack clear and coloured finishes
- Experience with both satin and gloss varnish products
- Experience in finishing high end joinery
- Experience in the marine industry, desirable
Skills
- Ability to identify defects in surface finishes
- Work in a high paced environment
- Ability to work amongst a wide variety of different trades
- Ability to work independently

- Furniture Finisher/ French Polisher
