Job title: Residential Support Worker

Job summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to provide assistance and support to individuals living in a residential setting. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with vulnerable populations and be able to provide emotional, social, and practical support to residents.

Roster:

Wednesday - 6am - 10am

Thurs - 6am pm-8pm

Friday - 6am - 9.30am and 4pm-8pm

Saturday - 4pm - 11pm

Tuesday - 6am - 930am + 4pm-8pm

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Empathy and compassion

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies

Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional support to residents in times of need

  • Assist with daily living tasks such as meal preparation, personal care, and household chores

  • Help residents access community resources and services

  • Monitor the well-being of residents and report any concerns to supervisor

  • Maintain accurate records of interactions with residents

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in social work or related field preferred

  • Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or mental health issues

  • Valid driver's license

  • First aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
