What you will own...

• Lead the design and evolution of our data and software architecture and establishment of our data warehouse, including data models, pipelines, and integrations, ensuring scalability and robustness.
• Build, maintain, and optimise infrastructure and reporting environments (DEV/UAT/PROD), including custom Python orchestrators, BI tools (Hex), and AWS services (EC2, CloudWatch, RDS).
• Achieve expert understanding on the nuances of our data, be a go-to resource for complex data questions and deep dives.
• Oversee and contribute to the creation, deployment, and maintenance of analytical reports and visualisations using Python, SQL, and Hex.
• Ensure the accuracy, quality, and reliability of data through the development and execution of data validation, monitoring, and quality checks.
• Support business-as-usual (BAU) reporting, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for data issues, including log analysis and remediation.
• Help design, document, and implement data governance practices, including access management, migration, and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders (marketing, sales, finance, operations) to understand requirements, identify issues, and plan solutions.
• Guide the adoption of best practices in code quality (logging, docstrings, unit tests), documentation, and use of version control and collaboration tools (GitHub, Notion, Cursor).
• Contribute to the triage and prioritisation of incoming data requests and maintenance of the team's ticketing system.

What we are seeking...

• Experience with forex trading data and platforms such as MT4/5, cTrader, and oneZero
• Experience in data or software engineering, analytics, or a similar technical data role, with a proven ability to design and build data infrastructure and reporting solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and experience with BI tools (preferably Hex).
• Strong understanding of data architecture, modeling, and integration concepts, with experience managing DEV/UAT/PROD environments.
• Demonstrated ability to create and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technology/Engineering or related field.

Pay: Up to $149,058.51 per year
