Position Overview:

The Logistics Support Analyst will develop and maintain ILS analyses for complete capabilities and manage the development and maintenance of the typical ILS Program artefacts.

This person will be integral in the development of HDA strategies, processes and internal projects. Success will require forging a partnership with all cross stream (functional) areas across the company and HDA's subcontractors to reinforce and improve upon existing project and program methodologies that meet internal and external client objectives, while creating value for all parties.

Primary Duties:

  • Develop and maintain Logistic Analyses models for complete Redback capabilities.
  • Assemble technical data required to populate the HDA EAGLE LSAR and maintain the LSAR as new data is available.
  • Provide guidance and advice to the HDA Approved Subcontractors on the development of Logistic Analyses outputs.
  • Develop and maintain LSAR artefacts such as FMECAR, LORAR, RPL.
  • Support the design activities for the HDA Land vehicle variants, ensuring that ILS considerations are included in design decisions.
  • Support VIMS/HUMS/CBM/RCM program activities.
  • Provide ILS support to the HDA Lead for the development and documentation of the Support System for HDA Land Programmes.
  • Provide support to the HDA Lead Analyst and Support Services Lead for the provision of Support Services for HDA capabilities.
  • Support the on-going reliability program for the capability.
  • Assist with the obsolescence program.
  • Support development and maintenance of IETP data modules linked to the LSAR.
  • Provide support to maintain capability Logistic Analyses tools for the complete HDA Land Vehicle Capability.
  • Contribute to the ILS related aspects of the other HDA Land project streams.
  • Support the development and realisation of ILS aspects across projects.
  • Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation, and issues management to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Other duties required by your supervisor.

Note:
The Logistics Support Analyst may be required to travel to subcontractor and test locations which may be within Victoria, Interstate and Internationally

Qualifications:

Mandatory:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or extensive related experience.

Desirable:

  • Master's study in relevant field.

Experience:

  • Experience in defence and/or defence industry as a practitioner in Integrated Logistics Support matters for large complex projects.
  • Experience with establishing and maintaining Logistics Analyses software.
  • Understand Defence's approach towards sustainment in the Land Domain and how Support System Constituent Capabilities interrelate.
