Analyst - Compliance & Governance (Information & Knowledge Management)

  • Analyst Level Years Working Experience

Our client is a leading organisation in the Australian landscape. Due to growth, it is looking for a new member to join the Knowledge Management & Information Management team.

Reporting to the Manager of Information Management, you will be involved in: -

  • Assist in conducting Information Management assessments
  • Collaborate with the Manager to gather requirements and current state documentation.
  • Prepare assessment reports and recommendations under the guidance of the Manager.
  • Maintain assessment documentation and track remediation progress against identified gaps.
  • Support the preparation of compliance reports and maturity assessment metrics.
  • Populate and maintain Information Management registers, extracting data from
  • Assist in documenting information management processes, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Support the Knowledge Management team in reducing disposal backlog.
  • Monitor updates to National Archives policies, standards, and requirements.
  • Assist in preparing materials for governance meetings.
  • Support the planning and implementation of information management projects.
  • Provide first-level support for staff IM queries.
  • Contribute to training material development and awareness programs.
  • Support the daily operations of the Knowledge Management team.

Along with your exceptional communication skills and presentation skills, you will have a minimum of: -

  • 2 - 3 years' experience within an information management and/or knowledge management environment
  • Good understanding of records and document management legislation, policies, and practices
  • Practical experience in appraisal, sentencing, and disposal of records.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools (Confluence, JIRA) is desirable.
  • Demonstrated customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.

This role is initially a 12-month daily rate contract working within a supportive and collaborative knowledge management function that covers investment data. It is based in Melbourne CBD and requires 3 days in the office.
