Aerial, Preschool & Tumbling Instructor

Permanent Part-Time | 6:45–11:00 AM Weekdays | Optional Afternoons | Unanderra

Are you the kind of person who can make a nervous adult feel strong, a preschooler feel brave, and a primary-aged kid feel like a flipping superstar?

We're looking for someone versatile, caring, and ready to jump into a fun, heart-led studio that supports students of all ages, from their very first forward roll to their first invert in the air.

Heads up: This role isn't a casual side hustle It's for someone looking to make mornings at our studio their "main gig."

About the Morning Role (Permanent Part-Time)

Weekdays 6:45 AM – 11:00 AM

  • Begin each morning by leading adult aerial classes (silks and lyra) designed to help women rebuild strength, confidence, and connection.
  • Follow it up with our Trixy Preschool Adventure Program a blend of storytelling, tumbling basics, aerial play, and loads of imagination.
  • You don't need experience in preschool teaching or aerial, we'll train you What matters most is your warmth, energy, and ability to create a joyful space for little learners.

Optional: Afternoon Teaching (Extra Hours)

Mondays & Wednesdays 3:30 PM – 8:00 PM

If you're confident teaching tumbling and working with kids from Kindergarten and up, we also have afternoon shifts available.

  • Teach the fundamentals of tumbling: handstands, cartwheels, bridges, rolls, and more.
  • Confidently lead structured lessons that help students progress and feel proud.
  • Assist with beginner aerial lessons or general tumbling and circus classes, depending on your experience.

We're open to hiring one person for both shifts, or splitting it between two amazing humans.

This Role Is For You If:

  • You're confident teaching tumbling basics and know how to spot safely (for afternoon shifts)
  • You're caring, creative, and love working with both adults and kids
  • You have a background in aerial, dance, cheer, yoga, fitness, or teaching—or a genuine willingness to learn
  • You're available weekday mornings and (if desired) afternoons
  • You're looking for something consistent and meaningful—not just a short-term side gig
  • You have your own reliable transport

We provide full training in:

  • Our aerial skills progression system
  • Our in-house Trixy preschool curriculum (includes storytelling, songs, and skill-based games)
  • How to structure and deliver engaging tumbling lessons (afternoon role)
  • Studio systems, student support, and our signature warm 'Totally Tumbling & Tricks' vibe
