As a result of our growth, continued diversity of our operations and recent project awards, we are currently looking for an Environment Site Representative to join our amazing team in Western Sydney for a NSW Government TfNSW Project.

The focus of this role will be on increasing the team's site environmental presence and providing the ability to offer technical support, advice and mentoring to our site management and client teams.

The ESR will manage onsite implementation of the Environmental Management System working towards achievement of our strategic and project objectives / goals.

To be considered you will have:

Mandatory:

  • Tertiary qualifications in an Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Sustainability or Environmental Engineering related discipline.
  • Detailed and proven hands-on experience in environmental management practices relating to civil construction, particularly soil and water management principals.
  • Generic Construction Induction Training (White Card or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in environmental management on road construction or other equivalent works.
  • Subcontractor Management experience.
  • Competent computer skills.
  • Ability to manage time well and prioritise works.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interpret legislation and related standards.
  • Ability to problem solve and make decisions in a dynamic work setting.
  • Experience in maintaining project management systems and
  • Current Australian Driver's License.

Desirable:

  • Auditing Competency or equivalent (Environmental Management Systems).

Reporting to:

  • Daracon Group Project Environmental Lead and
  • Project Manager
