Battery Installer

Role Summary

Solargenic is seeking a reliable, skilled electrician with experience in battery installations and a strong interest in full home electrification. You'll work across battery systems, EV chargers, heat pump circuits, induction upgrades, and switchboard modernisation — helping households shift toward safer, smarter, electrified living.

Air conditioning experience isn't required, but it's a nice bonus if you have it.

2. Key Responsibilities
Battery & Electrification Work

• Install and commission residential battery storage systems (required)
• Install EV chargers, induction cooktop circuits, and heat pump wiring
• Complete full home electrification upgrades
• Perform switchboard upgrades, rewiring, and safety improvements

Quality, Safety & Processes

• Deliver tidy, safe, high-quality installations
• Maintain accurate job notes and documentation
• Follow WHS requirements and Solargenic quality standards

Customer & Team Interaction

• Communicate clearly and respectfully with clients
• Represent Solargenic with honesty and professionalism
• Support apprentices and contribute to a positive team environment
• Suggest improvements to workflows, safety, and installation methods

Required Skills & Licences

• A-Grade Electrician
• SAA Accredited
• Proven experience in battery installations
• Driver's licence

Bonus (Not Required)

• Air conditioning or heat pump installation experience
• Familiarity with multiple battery/inverter brands
• Confidence managing small installation teams
• Experience mentoring apprentices
