About this Opportunity

We are seeking a Data Analyst who is driven to facilitate easy access to data that enables proactive analysis and provides insights into our business. This is a great opportunity for an individual looking to grow their career while contributing to continuous process improvements through data-driven insights.

The successful candidate will play a lead role in the process of gathering data from various sources, reviewing and interpreting that data, and using data analysis tools to provide meaningful information and insights that support better-informed decisions.

Reporting to the CFO, this role will be responsible for:

• Identifying and mapping data sources

• Connecting data sources, importing and organising data, and managing data integration and data warehousing to establish an effective data infrastructure.

• Developing, implementing and maintaining databases to efficiently store data while ensuring user accessibility.

• Analysing and modelling data to find answers to specific questions

• Generating information and insights from data sets and identifying trends and patterns

• Creating clear and effective data visualisations

• Assessing data quality and collaborating with users to clean and improve data

• Assessing risks associated with data extraction, transformation, and loading, then implementing data governance frameworks to mitigate risks.

• Conducting User Acceptance Testing of BI solutions and other systems solutions.

• Applying problem-solving skills in analysing business processes to identify and project manage the implementation of process improvements, including documenting system requirements and interfaces between new and legacy systems.

• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends, patterns and insights from data

• Creative thinker with the ability to analyse problems and work collaboratively with teams to find solutions

• Good listening and communication skills

• Solid knowledge of business information systems

• Working knowledge of business software applications

• Degree or Diploma qualification in a field related to business, maths, information technology, or computer science
