Experienced Runner / Expediter – Aalia, Sydney

Aalia, part of the prestigious ESCA Group (home to Ito 1 Hat, Nour 1 Hat, Lilymu, Joji, and more), is a 2-Hatted fine dining Middle Eastern restaurant in Sydney. We are seeking experienced runners or expediters to join our fast-paced, award-winning front-of-house team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a high-calibre fine dining environment and gain exposure to elite service standards.

About the Role

As a runner/expediter at Aalia, you will:

  • Support the FOH team in delivering seamless service between kitchen and dining room.
  • Ensure dishes are presented and delivered to guests at peak quality and timing.
  • Communicate effectively with both the kitchen and front-of-house staff to maintain smooth service flow.
  • Uphold the high standards of Aalia as a 2-Hatted fine dining restaurant.
  • Assist with mise en place, table preparation, and resetting during service.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a fine dining, Hat-awarded, or Michelin-starred restaurant.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
