About the role:

An opportunity exists for a highly experienced and strategic SAP Technical Architect with AGSVA security clearance to lead the design and implementation of advanced SAP technical architectures.

This role involves developing comprehensive SAP strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving innovation in SAP practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP solutions, extensive experience in technical architecture, and the ability to lead complex projects.

This role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra or Ballarat.

Applicants must have an active NV1 AGSVA clearance or be willing and eligible to obtain NV1 clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic SAP Technical Architecture:
  Develop and implement comprehensive SAP technical architectures that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on SAP technical architecture and design, ensuring informed decision-making.
• Technical Architecture and Design
  : Design and architect secure and scalable SAP environments, incorporating best practices and industry standards.
• Develop and maintain SAP technical architecture blueprints, roadmaps, and reference architectures.
• Risk Management and Compliance:
  Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with SAP implementations and operations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and policies, including ISO 27001 and NIST.
• Project Leadership and Delivery:
  Exhibit leadership of complex SAP projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery of solutions.
• Team Leadership and Development:
  Lead and mentor a team of senior SAP technical architects, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
• Stakeholder Engagement
  : Collaborate with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
• Thought Leadership and Innovation
  : Stay updated with the latest SAP trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Training and Awareness:
  Promote a culture of continuous improvement and SAP awareness within the organization.

The successful candidate:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Solution Architect, SAP Certified Technology Associate)
• Extensive experience as an SAP Technical Architect, with a proven track record of developing and implementing advanced SAP technical architectures and solutions.
• Demonstrated expertise in SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and Cloud technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP technical architecture and best practices
• Proficiency in SAP security features and services.
• Strong understanding of technical architecture frameworks, standards, and regulations.
• Experience with advanced SAP tools and technologies, such as SAP Solution Manager, SAP Fiori, and SAP Cloud Technologies.
