Job Title: Builder's Labourer / Construction Worker

Location: K Town Hotel, 11 Third Street, Katherine, NT

Employment Type: Full-time [Around 40 to 55 hours per week, Some weekends as well]

Salary: 65,000 to 72000

Contract: 5 years [Fixed term]

Reports To: Site Supervisors

We are Trusted Contracting Services, a locally owned and operated construction business running since 2020 in the Northern Territory, with over 12 years of hands-on construction site experience.

Our team holds a wide range of in-house licenses and qualifications, including plumbing, split-system air conditioning, forklift, heavy truck driving, test & tag, first aid, and restricted electrical license, allowing us to deliver high-quality work efficiently and safely.

We are fully equipped with heavy machinery such as forklift, heavy vehicles, scissor lifts, scaffolding, several work utes, and various professional-grade tools, ensuring we can complete every project seamlessly.

Our services include painting, blocklaying, tiling, plastering, rendering, concreting, split-system air conditioning, landscaping, carpentry, internal and external fit-outs, and plumbing fit-outs. We mainly complete our own projects and also work with high-value clients such as Defence and major corporations.

We currently have a large construction project underway in Katherine and are seeking two motivated Builder's Labourers / Construction Workers to join our growing team.

About the Role:

This role involves assisting qualified tradespeople and site supervisors in various building and construction activities. You'll be working across different trades and stages of construction to help deliver high-quality finishes.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist tilers, blocklayers, carpenters, and other trades as needed

· Support with internal and external finishes, including plastering, painting, rendering, and fit-outs

· Perform general construction and labouring duties such as site preparation, concreting, and clean-up

· Load, unload, and move tools, materials, and equipment

· Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery

· Maintain a safe and tidy worksite at all times

· Follow directions and safety procedures set by supervisors

· Site and tidy

· Amy other duties assign by the manager

Requirements:

· Previous experience in construction or labouring preferred (training can be provided)

· Physically fit and able to perform manual work

· Able to work in the Hot weather and work outside

· Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious

· White Card (Construction Induction Card) – essential or we will help to obtain the White card before construction start

· Current driver's license and reliable transport – preferred
