The Role

We are seeking a full-time Excavator Operator to join our growing team. In this role, you'll work across a range of residential and commercial sites, supporting plumbing installations through safe and efficient excavation and civil works. You'll be operating near-new, well-maintained machinery and equipment, including excavators, skid steers, and HR trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate excavators to complete trenching, digging, and site preparation
  • Operate skid steers and HR trucks as required on-site
  • Perform routine safety checks and basic maintenance on machines
  • Read and interpret site plans and instructions to ensure accurate excavation
  • Work collaboratively with plumbers, builders, and other trades
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organised work sites
  • Ensure full compliance with WHS standards and site requirements
  • Assist with general civil and plumbing site duties as needed

What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience operating excavators
  • Valid White Card
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and worksite best practices
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Positive attitude and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Experience in both residential and commercial projects is highly regarded
