Role Description

We are seeking a
SEO Specialist
to join the team on a
fixed-term contract based in Sydney
.

Responsibilities

Audit & Readiness

  • Conduct technical SEO audit (site performance, Core Web Vitals, structured data, product page structure).
  • Complete AI/LLM visibility audit across leading platforms (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity).
  • Define KPIs and establish a reporting framework with a live dashboard.

Content Architecture

  • Develop 2–3 buyer journey content clusters (e.g. beginner → enthusiast, travel photography, upgrade guides).
  • Produce SEO-optimised briefs and reusable page templates.
  • Benchmark and report on competitor strategies.

Optimisation & Activation

  • Improve Google Shopping feeds and Local Pack listings (accuracy, product data, reviews).
  • Pilot UGC integration into product/content pages to boost trust and search visibility.

Reporting & Handover

  • Deliver performance reporting against defined KPIs.
  • Provide roadmap for scaling content clusters, AI optimisation, and UGC integration.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer and capability uplift sessions with internal teams.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years in SEO and content strategy, ideally within retail, e-commerce, or consumer technology.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Shopping feeds, Local SEO, structured data, and schema markup.
  • Demonstrated experience with AI/LLM optimisation (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity).
  • Proficiency with analytics and reporting tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, Looker Studio).
  • Track record of delivering both strategy and execution within defined scopes.
