About the role

Dynaton Electrics Pty Ltd is seeking experienced NBN PIT & PIPE AND ELECTRICAL POLE TO PIT Civil Labourers and Leading Hands to join our growing team in Heatherton, VIC. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the expansion of our telecommunications & Electrical infrastructure.

What you'll be doing

  • Excavating and backfilling pits, manholes and trenches for the installation of underground Telecommunication and Electrical cables
  • Installing, connecting and maintaining underground pits, pipes and conduits
  • Operating various machinery and equipment such as jackhammers, compaction equipment, and hand tools
  • Ensuring work is completed to high safety and quality standards
  • Assisting with the supervision and mentoring of junior team members as a Leading Hand
  • Installation for new developments in the south eastern suburbs Melbourne

  • Reliable team players who take pride in quality workmanship and safety

  • Proven experience as a Labourer or Leading Hand in the civil construction industry

  • Strong knowledge of safe work practices and ability to work safely in an active construction site
  • Competent in the use of hand tools, power tools, and light machinery
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Valid driver's licence and Construction Induction Card (White Card)
