Key Worker
At Raised with Joy Speech Pathology, we believe every child's potential should be celebrated, nurtured, and given space to shine. We're a small, heart-led practice based within Kindred Therapy in the Shoalhaven, offering personalised, hands-on support for babies, children, and their families.
We are a neurodiversity-affirming practice, committed to celebrating differences, respecting individuality, and supporting children in ways that honour their unique strengths.
We're looking for two incredible humans to join our growing team:
• Key Worker (Paediatrics)
• Speech Pathologist (Paediatrics)
If you love working in a close-knit, multidisciplinary team where collaboration, laughter, and professional growth go hand in hand, you'll feel right at home here.
Why Raised with Joy?
Here, you're not just another team member — you're part of a supportive work family.
We:
• Celebrate your wins (big and small).
• Encourage you to follow your passions and special interests.
• Support your professional growth with dedicated mentoring and PD funds.
• Offer flexibility so you can enjoy life outside of work.
We're proud to create a workplace where you can truly make a difference and love what you do.
Role 1: Key Worker (Paediatrics)
Your Role
You'll work closely with our Speech Pathologists and other team members to bring therapy plans to life, helping children build skills in communication, feeding, play, social interaction, and more — in ways that fit naturally into their everyday environments.
What You'll Be Doing
• Deliver therapy sessions as outlined by our speech pathologists, supporting children with speech, feeding, receptive and expressive language, literacy, social skills, stuttering, and phonological awareness.
• Prepare resources and materials in accordance with therapist instructions.
• Collaborate with other therapy assistants and clinicians.
• Attend case conferences and team meetings as required.
• Provide administrative support to therapists.
• Participate in 1:1 and group supervision.
• Work with families, schools, and other health professionals to develop and implement individualised support plans.
• Deliver services in various settings, including preschools and schools, tailored to meet the needs of children and their families.
• Contribute to early intervention and disability services, alongside other unique paediatric support areas.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and caregivers.
What We Offer
• Salary above industry standards.
• Weekly supervision and 1:1 mentoring.
• PD allowance so you can keep learning and growing.
• Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance.
• A genuinely supportive, collaborative team environment.
What You'll Need
• Degree qualification in Allied Health, Early Childhood, or a related field.
• Experience working with children and families.
• Warm, approachable communication style.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check + Working with Children Check.
Role 2: Speech Pathologist (Paediatrics)
Your Role
You'll work as part of our warm, multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality paediatric assessment and therapy for children with communication and feeding needs. You'll collaborate closely with families, Key Workers, and other professionals, and be supported through regular supervision and mentoring from our Director and Senior Speech Pathologist.
What You'll Be Doing
• Conduct comprehensive paediatric communication and feeding assessments.
• Create and deliver individualised therapy programs.
• Support children with language, speech, feeding, literacy, stuttering, and social skills.
• Work closely with parents, educators, and other therapists to support each child's progress.
• Participate in supervision, case discussions, and collaborative planning.
• Deliver services across clinic, preschool, and school settings.
What We Offer
• Salary above industry standards.
• Weekly clinical supervision and peer support.
• PD allowance to explore areas of special interest.
• Flexible scheduling with a mix of clinic, preschool, and school visits.
• A genuinely supportive and collaborative team culture.
What You'll Need
• Degree in Speech Pathology (SPA membership).
• Paediatric experience preferred (but new grads encouraged to apply).
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check + Working with Children Check.
