At La Macina, we are passionate about creating memorable dining experiences through fresh, high-quality food and a vibrant atmosphere. We are currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Cook to become a key part of our team.

Your Role

As our Cook, you will:

• Prepare and cook food to the highest standards.
• Explain and enforce hygiene, food safety, and health regulations.
• Select, train, and guide kitchen staff as required.
• Manage the freezing, storage, and preservation of food to reduce waste and ensure freshness.
• Plan and organize all aspects of food preparation and cooking in our busy kitchen.

What We Are Looking For

Skills & Experience:

• At least 1 to 2 years of experience working as a Cook or in a similar role.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
• Reliable transport or residence within commuting distance.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
