What you'll be doing

The Clinical Product Nurse supports quality, safety, and cost-effective use of clinical products, ensuring contract compliance and efficient stock management across the district.

In this role you will:

  • Oversee clinical product and consumable usage and purchasing.
  • Ensure compliance with NSW Health procurement contracts.
  • Promote fiscal responsibility and cost-efficiency.
  • Support stock control through imprest system maintenance.
  • Enhance patient care by optimising product availability and quality.

Essential Criteria:

  • Registration: Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse/Midwife

Selection Criteria:

  1. Current registration with the (APRHA) Nurses and Midwives Board of NSW (RN List A)
  2. Recent clinical management experience.
  3. Demonstrated sound knowledge of clinical products, equipment, and their safe application within a clinical environment.
  4. Strong analytical skills, proficient in interpreting information, and developing strategies for project development and ongoing management.
  5. Sound problem solving skills with demonstrated ability to resolve clinical product and equipment related matters to achieve a clinically focused solution
  6. Proven organisational skills, capable of prioritising competing demands and consistently meeting deadlines.
  7. Verbal and written communication and proven interpersonal skills in engaging and cultivating relationships with stakeholders to facilitate change management initiatives.
  8. Current Driver's License valid within Australia.
