The Opportunity

Our Personal Carer & Engagement Worker (PCEWs) or Lifestyle Assistants are highly interactive supporting our elderly residents, their families and colleagues .
This role based at our Churchill facility in South Australia will see you working Monday to Friday, working closely with the nursing and lifestyle/resident engagement teams when performing your resident-centric care duties in a timely and compassionate manner surrounded by highly skilled and supportive senior carers and managers.
About You
At Infinite Care we hire for heart, so our best people are highly empathic, instil a strong work ethic and passionate about making a difference to the elderly. Ideally, you have worked in the Aged Care sector for at least 1 year in a Lifestyle role and the ability to "think on your feet", communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers alike.
In addition, you will also have:
- Qualifications in Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care), however given the nature of the role working across resident lifestyle activities a Certificate IV in Leisure and Health is also eligible.
- Hold the NDIS Workers Screening Clearance as this is essential to work in the Aged Care sector (*or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent safety awareness to avoid our residents tripping, falling or hurting themselves - you need to be their extra eyes and ears
- Very positive teamwork attitude, a trusted co-worker, excellent time management (we are a shift driven workplace including handovers) and always follow strict safety procedures to maintain a high standard of workplace safety.
