Temporary Full-Time | Up to 30 June 2026 (with possibility of extension)

Are you a dynamic nursing professional with a passion for supporting people and shaping the future of nursing workforce? We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Nurse Manager - Candidate Care to join our team in beautiful Cairns on a temporary full-time basis for 6 months.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys connecting with people, and brings a strong clinical background into the recruitment and onboarding journey of our nurses and midwives.

About the role

As the Associate Nurse Manager – Candidate Care, you will play a key role in:

  • Providing personalised support to nursing and midwifery candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Ensuring a smooth, positive and professional candidate experience from first contact to onboarding.
  • Coordinating communication, documentation and follow-up to streamline processes and remove barriers.
  • Working closely with the Recruitment, Nursing, Midwifery and Workforce teams to meet workforce needs.
  • Contributing to innovative recruitment strategies and engaging talent for our service.

This role offers a blend of clinical insight, people skills and strategic workforce involvement - ideal for nurses wanting to broaden their career beyond traditional clinical settings.
