Day Shift | 5:00am - 3:00pm ($52/Hr + Super + Overtime)

Night Shift | 8:00pm - 6:00am ($65/Hr + Super + Overtime)

Our client has recently commissioned a brand new, $150 million corrugated box manufacturing site in Hemmant. Built to support Queensland's agricultural, FMCG, and primary industry sectors, this facility features world class automation and cutting edge technology.

We're looking for an Industrial Electrician to support plant operations through maintenance, repairs, and continuous improvement initiatives. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll play a key role in keeping this high performance facility running safely and efficiently.

What you'll be doing:

  • Responding to equipment breakdowns and prioritising preventative maintenance activities.
  • Installing electrical systems including wiring and conduit for conveyors, control systems, and high-speed production machinery.
  • Replacing and repairing electrical components such as motors, relays, switches, sensors, scanners, and other automated parts.
  • Diagnosing and resolving faults in electronic components including printed circuit boards.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains across the plant.

What we're looking for:

  • A current QLD Electrical Licence and solid experience in manufacturing electrical systems.
  • A proactive mindset with a strong interest in learning about PLCs and automation.
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-volume environments and a strong safety focus.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • A self-starting approach and reliable work ethic with a results-driven attitude.
