Store Manager – Don Don Dumpling (Epping VIC)

Don Don Dumpling is a fast-growing Asian fast-food restaurant specializing in dumplings and delicious Chinese dishes. We are currently seeking a reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented Store Manager to lead our team and oversee daily store operations. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and is passionate about food and people management.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Training

• Supervise, motivate, and support front and back-of-house team members.
• Train and onboard new staff on store procedures, food safety, and service standards.

Scheduling & Staffing

• Create weekly rosters based on business needs and staff availability.
• Manage shift changes, absenteeism, and ensure adequate staffing coverage.

Inventory & Ordering Management

• Monitor stock levels, manage supply orders, and coordinate with suppliers.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and minimize waste.

Customer Service & Issue Resolution

• Ensure smooth day-to-day service and handle customer feedback or concerns professionally.
• Lead by example to deliver friendly, efficient, and consistent service.

Store Operations & Cleanliness

• Oversee opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure all cleaning and safety checklists are completed daily.
• Maintain compliance with hygiene, food safety, and OH&S standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or retail store management is strongly preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
• Must be proactive, reliable, and passionate about team success.
