Are you a tech-savvy problem solver who enjoys helping others succeed? SEDA College WA is seeking an IT Technician to join our Business Services team in a full-time role (part-time flexibility can be negotiated for those currently studying). You'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of the College's digital systems.

In this hands-on role, you'll support staff and students by providing responsive technical support, maintaining IT infrastructure, and helping deliver technology projects that enhance teaching, learning, and day-to-day College operations.

ABOUT THE ROLE – HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

As an IT Technician, you'll work closely with the IT Manager to:


• Provide Level 1 and 2 technical support and manage helpdesk requests


• Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and network issues


• Support and maintain Microsoft 365, cloud and on-premises systems


• Assist with system monitoring, updates, and maintenance


• Support staff and students with classroom, media, and AV technology


• Contribute to IT improvement projects and process documentation


• Collaborate with staff and external providers to deliver reliable IT services

This role offers variety, collaboration, and the opportunity to make a direct impact on the digital learning experience for students and staff.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR – THE DIFFERENCE YOU'LL BRING

We're seeking someone who's curious, adaptable, and enjoys solving problems with a smile.

Essential:


• Solid technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills


• Experience providing Level 1 & 2 IT support


• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, cloud, and common operating systems


• Strong communication and customer service skills


• Current Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance, and Driver's Licence

Desirable:


• Experience with Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, or ITIL service delivery


• Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell), SQL, or AV/classroom technology
