As part of our team, your role as a Full time Cook/Chef will assist with providing high standard quality, nutritious meals. You will be asked to:
Prepare a high volume of meals daily
- Undertake all duties in accordance with the food safety and hygiene legislation
- Use and maintain all kitchen equipment in an appropriate manner
- Understand own impact on budget and operate in a manner that appropriately minimises costs
- Follow recipes and assist in developing new food ideas
You will be a successful candidate if you possess:
• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or similar
• Food Handling and Hygiene certificate
• Willingness to work across all areas of the kitchen
• Evidence of Australian work rights
• Team Player
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a commercial kitchen environment
