Senior Business Architect

Your new role:

Reporting to the Principal, Portfolio & Transformation, the Senior Business Architect works closely with teams across the organisation to help shape the future of the Fund. This role is ideal for someone with experience in business architecture, a solid understanding of how organisations operate, and a track record of supporting transformation and strategic change.

You'll play a key role in aligning strategic objectives with core business architecture disciplines - including business capabilities, value delivery mechanisms, and operating model design - while providing clear, structured insights that empower senior stakeholders to make better, more informed decisions.

Key duties include but are not limited to:

• Developing and maintaining models by applying a structured business architecture approach and methodology.
• Assessing the impact of strategically imperative change on the Fund and clearly articulating gaps that may exist.
• Designing and evolving target operating models ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Working with a broad set of stakeholders to identify the needs of business architecture engagements and provide guidance where necessary.
• Motivate and inspire the team by demonstrating commitment to the Fund's values, decision pillars and leadership principles.
• Ensure our Members First culture is consistently and firmly embedded across the team.
• Drive a strong service and excellence-oriented culture with accompanying KPIs, within the team and with suppliers and partners.

What you'll need:

• 5 years' experience in a business architecture or similar role, with a proven track-record of success.
• A broad understanding of how businesses operate and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes, enabling technologies, and governance.
• Ability to synthesize information, identify patterns, issues, redundancies, and propose actionable ways forward.
• Ability to produce visual model-based representations of the Fund to aggregate or disaggregate complex information.
• Experience in developing and maturing baseline business architecture models.
• Strong communication, influencing, stakeholder management and networking abilities.
• Familiarity with business architecture frameworks such as BIZBOK or similar.
• Demonstrated capacity to work in ambiguous and complex environments.
