About the role

United Minds Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Psychologist to join our team on a contract basis in the vibrant city of Bundaberg, Queensland. As a Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality mental health services to our diverse client base, helping individuals and families overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments to diagnose and understand clients' mental health needs
  2. Developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances
  3. Providing individual, group, and family therapy sessions to support clients' mental health and wellbeing
  4. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic, coordinated approach to client care
  5. Maintaining detailed and accurate client records, ensuring compliance with professional and legal requirements
  6. Participating in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices

What we're looking for

  1. Registered Psychologist with a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience
  2. General registration with the Psychology Board of Australia is required
  3. Demonstrated expertise in providing evidence-based psychological interventions, such as cognitive-behavioural therapy, mindfulness-based therapies, and family systems approaches.
  4. Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work collaboratively with clients and other healthcare professionals.
  6. Commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to stay at the forefront of best practices in the field of psychology.
  7. Eligibility for Medicare provider registration and private health insurance rebates
  8. Valid work visa or Australian work rights required
  9. Valid blue card Required
