Transport Supervisor – Hamilton Island / Transport Team

Hamilton Island is one of Australia's most iconic holiday destinations – and the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. Our Transport team plays a vital role in delivering seamless guest movement across the island, from warm arrivals to smooth departures.

We're now seeking a dedicated and experienced Transport Supervisor to help lead this essential service, ensuring safety, efficiency, and exceptional guest experiences every day.

Your Role

As the Transport Supervisor, you'll oversee the daily operations of Hamilton Island's Transport team — including airport transfers, guest shuttle services, and private transport. You'll provide hands-on leadership to drivers, maintain service standards, and ensure the smooth, safe, and efficient movement of guests across the island.

Where you'll make an impact
  • Supervise and coordinate daily driver schedules, rosters, and vehicle allocations.
  • Ensure all transport services operate safely, punctually, and to the highest standard of presentation.
  • Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Support onboarding of new drivers and foster a positive, guest-first team culture.
  • Liaise with airport, hotel, and events teams to coordinate large group movements and logistics.
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules and cleanliness standards.
  • Monitor and report on service quality, safety compliance, and guest feedback.
What we're looking for
  • Previous supervisory experience in transport, logistics, or hospitality operations.
  • Minimum QLD MR licence and a clean driving record.
  • QLD Industry Authority – or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Proven leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
  • Strong customer service focus with the ability to lead by example.
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
