As the Transport Supervisor, you'll oversee the daily operations of Hamilton Island's Transport team — including airport transfers, guest shuttle services, and private transport. You'll provide hands-on leadership to drivers, maintain service standards, and ensure the smooth, safe, and efficient movement of guests across the island.
Where you'll make an impact- Supervise and coordinate daily driver schedules, rosters, and vehicle allocations.
- Ensure all transport services operate safely, punctually, and to the highest standard of presentation.
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
- Support onboarding of new drivers and foster a positive, guest-first team culture.
- Liaise with airport, hotel, and events teams to coordinate large group movements and logistics.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules and cleanliness standards.
- Monitor and report on service quality, safety compliance, and guest feedback.
- Previous supervisory experience in transport, logistics, or hospitality operations.
- Minimum QLD MR licence and a clean driving record.
- QLD Industry Authority – or eligibility to obtain one.
- Proven leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
- Strong customer service focus with the ability to lead by example.
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
- Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
- A hands-on leadership style with a calm, professional approach under pressure.
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience.
